The KORG minilogue xd
The KORG minilogue xd is the best-sounding synthesizer in its class. It features two analog voltage-controlled oscillators (VCOs); a third digital oscillator; an analog low-pass filter (LPF); snappy envelopes; and beautiful digital reverb, delay, and modulation effects. This hybrid design produces a truly great combination of unmistakably authentic analog warmth and digital polish while also putting almost all of the paramters at your fingertips.
KORG stands out amongst its contemporary competitors in the quality of the sound. KORG clearly put a lot of effort into developing effects with great character.
The minilogue xd is also the first synth where when I've gone through the factory presets I have been truly impressed. They are very usable, they sound great, and are made in good taste. For I moment I considered whether there would be any point in creating a patch bank for this synth. However, once I dug into it I found myself finding more and more great-sounding possibilities. The synth ships with 200 factory presets, and 300 empty slots. So you can enjoy having both the factory bank and my 200 additional patches loaded at the same time.
Inspired by vintage synths and retro references
This preset pack was a while in the making as I wanted to make sure it was well-rounded. It includes classic vintage-style polysynths, pads, leads, organs, basses, arps. Inspirations include Stranger Things, Boards of Canada, Depeche Mode, Tame Impala, Mac Demarco, The Knife, Jean Michel Jarre, Kraftwerk.
