My goal is put distinctive and timeless character and emotion at your fingertips, by providing you with a large variety of diverse, usable sounds. I draw inspiration from classic synthesizers of the '70s & '80s, as well as other vintage keyboard instruments, and the iconic retro artists that used them.
Customers previously disillusioned their synths' factory presets are often surprised to find their synth was all along capable of such diverse rich, warm, and evocative tones.
Prices of vintage synthesizers have skyrocketed. I use my talent to make those sounds accessible to those of us who only have affordable synthesizers.
About Thoracius, Your Sound Designer
Hi, I'm Thoracius Appotite. I am a graduate of the Electronic Music Studio program at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
I have over 20 years experience with synthesizers and music production. During that time I have played in countless bands. I have produced albums for a handful of other artist, in addition to many of my own. I combine my ear for production, technical knowledge, and retro aesthetic sense to create the type of synth patches I'd want to use for my own music.
